| This Committee is responsible for proposing and organizing social events for the general membership. This Committee is responsible for the scheduling of the events and arranging for volunteers to assist with events. This committee will work with other committees to promote these events. The Committee's purpose is to provide opportunities for networking and fellowship among Booster Club members. | ||

| This Committee shall be responsible for researching local charities and proposing names of specific charities for the Booster Club to assist. This Committee is responsible for proposing and organizing events to assist charitable causes. The Committee shall act as the liaison between the charities and the Booster Club. | ||

| The primary
function of the Public Relations/Communications Committee is to
disseminate information and promote the activities of the Booster
Club to its members and the local community. This Committee acts
as an information network for prospective and existing members and provides information to the Barnstormers’ front office regarding the Booster Club and its activities. This committee shall develop programs to promote good relations with the community and the public; prepare promotional materials for publication; and arrange for radio and television programs or in any other media which would benefit the Booster Club. This Committee coordinates all publicity relative to the activities of the Booster Club including press releases. This Committee is responsible for creating and distributing a Booster Club newsletter on a regular basis. |

| The Treasurer of the Booster Club shall be the Chair of this Committee. This Committee will provide a proposed budget for the ensuing fiscal year to be approved by the Executive Board, and adopted by the membership at the annual meeting of the Booster Club. This Committee meets on an as-needed basis to review financial matters involving the funds of the Booster Club. It is the responsibility of the Finance Committee to assist in reviewing contracts, financial related documents and/or information, and to make recommendations to the Booster Club with regard to dues, budgets, and other financial related decisions. Additionally, this committee shall be responsible for creating, maintaining and updating a membership directory. | ||

| The members of this committee are in charge of finding fun and interesting ways to raise money for the Booster Club. This Committee will also plan, organize, and carry out the fundraisers with the assistance of the entire Booster Club membership. | ||

| The Bylaws and Governing Documents Committee periodically reviews the bylaws, Code of Ethics and Mission Statement and any other governing documents, and makes recommendations for changes and updates to be voted on by the members. Once the membership decides on any changes, it shall be this Committees’ responsibility to revise documents for presentation to the membership. | ||

| This Committee shall be responsible for maintaining a collection of photographs, flyers, books, magazines, articles, publications, video and cassette tapes, and other documents or written materials related to the Booster Club and its events, activities and history. | ||

| The Membership Committee establishes the guidelines and criteria for membership in the Booster Club. This Committee shall be responsible for creating, updating, and revising when necessary, the membership application. It responds to inquiries regarding membership and sends membership applications to potential members and renewal notices to existing members. This Committee shall review all incoming applications and make a recommendation to the Board of Directors on whether or not an application should be approved. If an application is incomplete or needs clarification, the Membership Committee shall contact the applicant for the necessary information. This Committee is responsible for recruiting new members. The Committee also interacts with outside entities which request membership information from the Booster Club. This Committee shall make recommendations to the Booster Club on the benefits that members should receive. | ||

| This Committee
fosters and maintains contact with players and serves as an information
source regarding the Booster Club and the benefits it offers the
players. This Committee shall reach out to the players throughout
the season to provide information about the Lancaster County area;
work with the Activities Committee to hold activities that include
the players, coaches, and members of the Booster Club; provide
recognition of players’
birthdays with a card; plan and organize occasional clubhouse meals
or snacks; and make recommendations to the Booster Club on other
ways it can assist and support the players and their families. |

| This committee shall oversee the creation and maintenance of the Booster Club’s website with the assistance of the website designer. The committee shall regularly review the site to insure that the information on the site is accurate and up to date. | ||
